Maven & Gradle

mvn deploy and Gradle’s maven-publish plugin publish to RepoForge without extra plugins. Builds resolve from it like any other Maven repository, with the Kotlin or Groovy DSL.

Standard Layout

Artifacts live at the usual groupId, artifactId and version paths. RepoForge generates maven-metadata.xml and the md5, sha1, sha256 and sha512 checksum files, so your builds verify every download.

Public SDKs

Make an artifact public and your customers can resolve it without an account or a token. Publishing still needs credentials. A good fit for SDKs and API clients you’d rather not ship through Maven Central.

Tokens & Roles

Give CI a token that can publish and everyone else one that can only read. Need tighter control? Switch an artifact to its own roles, so only the people and tokens you choose can see it.

CI/CD Ready

Publish a release from GitHub Actions with setup-java and a repository secret, or from GitLab CI/CD with a settings.xml. Gradle picks up credentials from ORG_GRADLE_PROJECT_ variables, so tokens stay out of your build files.

Releases & Snapshots

Publish releases and SNAPSHOT builds to the same repository. Builds that depend on a SNAPSHOT pick up the newest one, and RepoForge keeps the last ten builds of each SNAPSHOT so old ones don’t eat your storage.
